Halloween is almost here, but fall is far from over. I am not someone who sets up their Christmas tree on November 1st. We still need to enjoy the changing leaves and the crisp autumn walks in the park before we are ready for the snow to hit. I still have a bunch of things I want to do; maybe a few of these will inspire you too!
Bonfire

I LOVE a good bonfire with some s’mores. I redid my backyard a few years ago to have a nice and cozy place to host family and friends. The best part is my special cauldron-shaped fire pit, which is the perfect place to roast marshmallows and watch a movie during the fall!
Painting Pumpkins
This is something that I feel is much better after Halloween. Save the carving for the jack-o’-lanterns; painting pumpkins and gourds is such a fun activity that you can still display through November. I love the idea of painting little mushrooms or leaves across a pumpkin, or a nice pattern with some autumn colors.
Take an Autumn Nature Walk

I am not saying let’s do this at night; I don’t want to star in my very own horror movie when something scares me in the forest at night. A walk through the forest on a cool autumn day, surrounded by leaves changing colors, is just what I need to make this fall feel complete. It also helps that I have four little pups who would love to join me.
Fall Nails
I love a good fall nail. Last year I had two different types of spooky nails for October, and this year I had candy corn nails. Now, going into November, it’s time to switch it up to something much more autumn than spooky. I’m thinking a deep red or brown. Maybe I can even find some nails with little autumn leaves on them…
Fall Craft
There are so many cute fall crafts to do for the season; I can’t decide what to do. Maybe I will do a few different ones; I will have to walk you through whichever one I do. I have been looking at those nail polish flowers with the wire outlines… wonder if I could make little autumn leaves?
Cozy Reading Afternoon

I love the aesthetic pictures of being cozy in a big chair curled up under a blanket with a nice warm drink… the thing that makes it the best is doing it outside! That same place that can host a bonfire at night can be a nice little reading area during the day. Just get a warm drink and blanket and curl up with a nice autumn book. My pick for this fall is The Nightmare Before Kissmas, and I’m so excited to start it! I have been saving it specifically for November!
Craft Fair
I personally love a craft fair; you get to see all sorts of new handmade things for the season, and fall is one of the best times to go. Not only do you have all the autumn items, but you have Christmas stuff to look forward to as well. Maybe even pick up a Christmas gift or two while you’re there…
I’m so excited to work through my list. The best part is that if I don’t finish the whole thing, there’s always next year! I might even just tweak the list and use it for Christmas! What are your November plans? Leave a comment below!
